Japanese Language School, where you can study in Japan while feeling the real Japan

Most of the international students coming to Japan spend every day only studying at school and doing their part-time jobs. That’s why even though they’re studying in Japan, they can’t feel like they’re studying in Japan. Experiencing Japanese culture is the first step to understand Japan.

At our school, we want students to feel more real Japanese culture by shifting from experiencing to feeling Japanese culture. Experience-based learning, such as feeling the heat of athletes and spectators when watching live sports and going to popular foods and places, and feeling the current trends in Japan, is the original meaning of studying in Japan. This is an important experience for international students and their future.

Message from the principal

Our school is located in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City, where multiculturalism is thriving. I believe that the role of our school in this region is to connect international students and local people.

One of the main initiatives of our school is community interaction. I believe that community interaction can create better relationships between international students and local people. In current society, there are a lot of problems with foreign residents. To create a more developed community and support each other, it is necessary to make efforts from all aspects. It is quite difficult for international students living in Japan for the first time to get involved in the local community on their own. I believe giving support to them is our role, and this is the reason why our school is located in Ikuno Ward.

Another initiative is to make students experience the real Japan. As globalization progresses, we are now living in an era where we can study abroad anywhere we want in the world. In such an era, the reason why the international students chose Japan is probably that they are interested in Japanese culture. In order to meet their expectations, I would like them to experience various cultural experiences that are unique to our school.

We, Nissei Japanese Language School, would like to continue to contribute to our society for a better future for both international students and local people.

Our principle is to develop a multicultural community where students can experience more by accepting various learners who have a common aim of studying Japanese, regardless of age and individual situation as well as nationality.
