The Nissei Japanese Language School Choral Competition was held on January 24, 2024 at Rigetta Hall in Ikuno Ward.
Classes from Groups 1 to 17 practiced hard and prepared for the actual event. We chose a variety of songs, from famous songs that have been sung since the Showa era to songs that we often hear recently. The teacher team did their best not to lose, but both the first place and second place went to the students. That should be it···. Their singing voices were even better than their teachers. Also, everyone in the class who didn’t win the prize this time sang freely and seemed to have a lot of fun during the actual performance. It was a day that made me realize how amazing the power of singing is.
